Over the time we've been chatting in ##scuba, we've collected a few answers to common questions as well as useful links to other sites.

Why are some people 'voiced' and why?

Libera.Chat, and specifically its service bot NickServ, allows users to register their accounts. If a regular user of ##scuba is also registered with NickServ, they are automatically voiced on joining the channel. This gives them a special user mode (+v). Ordinarily, this just means regulars are recognised and given a special indicator in the IRC client. Rarely, however, the channel is put into a moderated mode (+m), usually if we get channel spam, and then only voiced users will be able to send messages to the channel.

Where can I go diving or snorkelling in the UK and Ireland?
